    ANDRE CABRAL

  2. Katia Bichara says:

The submission I like best was done by ANDRÉ CABRAL as he manages to convey with great simplicity and elegance the idea of convergence, by mixing the colors, as well as everything in nature.
Not without reason, we relate the white light to enlightened people who have purity of feelings!
I interpret “convergence” as a union: united people, unity of feelings and values and a desire that the white light is achieved by all of us.
    Wonderfull!!!

I like very much Ionut Stoianovic , it was the only picture that made me wach more than few seconds.. somehow it moved me. But I also like Conjar and Vrkas, on my opinion these designs are the best, the rest are too cartoonish. Good luck to all.

Regarding Stoianovici submission, I like the description given by him, but I think the piece itself failed to convey his idea of convergence.
Also, about Conjar and Vrkas submission, I think the idea of convergence goes much further than communication through technology.
In my opinion, other studies were able to pass much better the idea of convergence than these.

Very interesting what Ionut Stoianovici did, i like it. Also very interesting David Chamela and Aron Tomko, nice work guys.. good luck

    Hi,
I seen the photos, please try to do something new.
Always try new, if u show something real then it look simple but it has more value than which u do artificially

  7. Katia Bichara says:

I think the basis of this competition should be to get through, visually, the idea of convergence.
Furthermore, the description of the piece and the piece itself must be linked, which was not achieved in most studies submitted.

  8. Katia Bichara says:

The creativity of each piece is unique. But I think most of the studies presented were stuck to the relationship between technology and convergence, when, however, the concept of convergence can go much further.
    Anyway, good luck to all!!!

  9. Gabriel Matt says:

I like ionut stoianovici too, I feel he grasped the simplicity showing in his design somehow an organized aglomeration of information connected in one point and I think it’a very unique concept.
Andre Cabal did also a nice design, probably trying to show a connection of circles but it’s just too common, if you write on google ‘colored circles’, you’ll find a lot of this kind, not unique enough.
Also Dong Jae Kim’s design is interesting but I think it’s not finished, probably if he could work more at his concept would be nicer..
As for the rest designs like some one said above are too cartoonish and not original enough, keep up the good work guys and good luck to all!

Ionut Stoianvic and Conjar are the best, good luck

Vishakha, you got the spirit of the competition. Seems like you did a dive into “How Amdocs helps convergence”. Best thing is we can relate all the items you have put in your submission with devices, technologies we use in everyday life seamlessly. Your work seems to be exclusively for this submission.. That is what i liked about it: Being specific and satisfying the purpose of the sponsorer.

Conjar and Vrkas, your work also looks catchy and visually appealing , the only problem may be that Word convergence will come to mind only when people already know “convergence is topic” , otherwise people may see something else. Still its amazing effort.

Ionut, you also have done good graphics. I would have like it more if you had put strings of “1010101011111000111000111″ in place of “2314…” , as it is all 1′s and 0′s in telecom and the person would have got clear idea of what are you connecting!!

  12. whimsical says:

OMG i just got an ACTA pulled on me.

In any case i like all works, it not matter if some similar to other work, it is like you say 2 photos are same cause they have same pose, but different peoples – wrong.

There is lot of work without concept which is bad i think cause the message is not understod.

I liked very much the work of painter Andre Cabral. Very beutiful. I would like to have one like this. Congratulations. He is a great artist. The movement and the colors make me happy. Congratulations to the Galery too. The actuality world need the colours. Regina

  16. Gilson Chagastelles says:

Very interesting piece of Andre Cabral. My vote was wrong, so please consider five stars to Andre Cabral instead of one.

  17. Ronit says:

I like Ahron Tomko׳s piece the most! It is so impressive and provide an interesting view to the convergence from the computing aspect.

  18. Cristiano Rallet says:

Ionut stoianovici is the best, love it! good luck all

  19. Harman says:

Couple of designs are really good.
I think i liked the one with Mathematical equation that adds up voice, broadband and cable… Smart thinking… I think it can be official default Amdocs Desktop wallpaper or Actual Wallpaper at their office entrances… (this one is by Vishakha Gupta)
the other design i liked is , the one with hands joined in the circle. It can be very good as a logo for convergence (this one is by Alex)

Must say, some other designs are also very competitive…

    • thanks to understand my entry, I have understand tis project us a convergence suitable idea translated to a graphic entry wich was applicable, so i did this kinda “Logo” entry.

Its cartoonish, but its mediterranean too.

really good luck to all entryes but mine has no competence becouse all entrys look like an artwork soo mine is in another line, its like if is been isolated.

I like Ionut Stoianovici’s design, it’s unique; it’s tending to one point, inclining and approaching nearer together from different directions achieving a union or a common result. Actually this is the definition of converging. I really like it! Good job !
…and good luck to all of you!

Hello people, I just found that Conjar and Vrkas copied his design from here:
    http://lang-8.com/178185/journals/732791/-communication-to-all-over-the-world
I hope the staff will take proper actions for this plagiarism because this Conjar copied the ideea from the site above and it doeesn’t prove any originality at all.

  26. William O'Keefe says:

I loved Aaron Tomko’s piece. It reminds me so much of the anticipation I feel whenever I get a new electronic device and turn it on for the first time; that moment of ‘first contact’ as it were. The usage of underlying metaphor in our ability to use technology to evolve ourselves as a species is wonderfully done here. A great use of colors in general, but I especially enjoy the idea of the map of the world converging with both the technological and natural world sides of the images in such a subtle way. A truly beautiful concept and a great work. +1

  27. brigitte müler says:

I love it when I see an artwork that has hidden details or message. This is the reason my favorite two pieces are “Project Rubik” by Dimitar Dimitrov and “Convergence of Sociality” by Aaron Tomko. At first those two did not strike me. However that is because the previews posted by Amdocs are kind of small so I had to zoom really close to be able to see the details on most of the artworks.
In the “Project Rubik”, Dimitrov has successfully created an illusion of pieces joining together at the center. However, the element I liked the most was the molecular structure he put on the background. It was hard to spot at first because of the size of the preview on the site. I believe he used different chemical elements in order to form the word “CONVERGENCE”.
“Convergence of Sociality” by Tomko reminds me of “Creation of Adam” in a modern futuristic way. I liked his choice of colors and elements, to form the whole piece. I find it clever to portray people and nature on the left side, reaching and joining with technology and science to the right side.
The other artists also created nice and interesting artworks. However, some of them missed the idea behind converging technology and community
